About Me and Contact
UK Resilience Man is an independent project focused on practical household preparedness for UK homes. The aim is to provide clear, realistic guidance that helps people handle short disruptions with confidence and without drama.
I am a UK risk professional with a long background in analytical work and practical problem solving. This project grew from that experience and from a desire to make preparedness clearer, calmer and more accessible for ordinary homes.
The guidance here is written for beginners and for hobbyists who enjoy developing their preparedness further. The aim is to support both groups with clear, practical steps that fit real UK conditions.
UKRM keeps to three principles.
• Practical advice grounded in real UK conditions
• Simple steps that anyone can take
• Independence from politics, fear and extremes
UKRM sits alongside official guidance, not instead of it. Always cross-check local risks and follow instructions from emergency services.
UKRM is being built deliberately and carefully. The aim is to provide depth, not volume, and pages will expand over time.
Preparedness is not about doom. It is about making life easier when something goes wrong.
